Ferry Boarding in Porto Santo Stefano

Guide for embarking in Porto S. Stefano to reach the island of Giglio by ferry

The embarkation of the ferries for the Island of Giglio is located in Porto Santo Stefano on the northern coast of the Monte Argentario peninsula immediately at the entrance to the town (Navigator: Piazzale Candi 8, 58019 Porto Santo Stefano, Porto del Valle commercial port).

If you bring your car to the island of Giglio you can leave it directly at the embarkation point (orange P on the map).

The ticket offices of both the two shipping companies Toremar and Maregiglio are located just before the pier on the other side of the road (yellow house on the map).

With cars and motorbikes in tow, pre-booking is always advisable, in order to be sure to find a place on the ship. In high season we always recommend booking the ferry also for foot passengers, so as not to run the risk of having to queue for the purchase of the ticket on the port and have problems with returning during holidays or weekends.
