The picturesque harbor town of Giglio Porto, where you arrive by ferry, is the beating heart of the island, Giglio Castello, surrounded by its city walls, lies majestically on the mountain ridge and is the administrative center of the island, on the west coast is the seaside resort of Giglio Campese directly on the large sandy beach. There are also smaller, secluded settlements near the beaches of Arenella and Cannelle, as well as holiday homes dotted around the Mediterranean maquis of the east coast. Given the small size of the island, the choice of accommodation location may not be that important. Wherever you stay, you will have the opportunity to discover the entire island.

Ferries to Giglio

The island of Giglio is very well connected to the mainland. Two ferries run several times a day all year round from Porto Santo Stefano, Monte Argentario, to Giglio Porto, the only harbor on the island. The crossing takes one hour. There are no hydrofoils.
