Bathing establishments on Giglio Island
For those who wish to spend a day or the whole holiday in the sun and in relaxation, they will find well-equipped bathing establishments on the four major beaches of Isola del Giglio. Some offer only the hire of sunbeds and umbrellas, others also have cabins, showers, a small bar and the hire of pedalos and boats. It is also possible to practice many of the most popular water sports. All beaches offer also a smaller part as a “free beach”
While there are 10 bathing establishments on the Campese beach, on the smaller beaches of Cannelle, Caldane and Arenella there is always only one activity.

Campese Beach
All along the Beach of Campese are a succession of bathing establishments that provide sunbeds and umbrellas, cabins, toilets, pedal boats and other services and equipment.
The long, wide beach is divided into two symmetrical parts by a rocky section in the centre. Hence its division into the Torre Area, the part near the Medicean Tower,, and the Faraglione Area on the other side (also called the Residence as of the big structure behind the beach (where the Miniera del Franco once stood).

Cannelle Beach
The second largest beach on the island is the Cannelle Beach south of the harbour. On one side is the well-equipped Cannelle Wonderful Beach, which provides sunbeds and sun loungers, and on the other the wide public beach. Directly on the shoreline you will also find a Bar Restaurant Pizzeria “Cannelle on the Beach” offering an a la carte pizza lunch or a rich buffet.

Caldane Beach
The smallest of the equipped beaches on the island of Giglio is the Beach of the Caldane. To discover it, you have to venture out by sea, leaving by boat from Giglio Porto with the services of the boatmen, or on foot along a beautiful path that unravels the cliff from the Cannelle Beach.
The equipped Caldane Beach offers many services as well as the rental of umbrellas and sunbeds to spend a beautiful day in a comfortable and relaxing environment.
